The 4RP3 is a 4-inch internal diameter (4½-inch outer diameter) round gas-vent pipe section from Hart & Cooley’s RP Series, designed for Type B venting applications in negative-pressure gas combustion systems. Constructed with a durable galvanized steel outer shell and an aluminum inner pipe, it features secured, locking-joint connections to prevent separation under vibration and help maintain structural integrity.The standard length is approximately 36 inches (3 ft), although coupling overlap reduces the effective assembled length by about 1-? inches when connected to adjacent sections.The product is suitable for venting flue gases from Category I appliances (negative pressure, atmospherically vented) where discharge temperatures and installation conditions meet the Type B vent specification. Clearances to combustibles, proper joint engagement and installation according to manufacturer guidelines are required.
