The 3RP24 is a 3-inch diameter by 24-inch length round “Type B” gas-vent pipe designed by Hart & Cooley for use in negative-pressure gas-heating flue systems. It features a double-wall construction with a corrosion-resistant aluminum inner liner (0.012″ thick) and G90 galvanized steel outer shell (0.018″ thick), joined via a continuous lock-ring band that allows full 360° rotation and ensures a secure fit and positive alignment. The standard coupling overlap reduces the assembled length by approximately 1 3/8″. Minimum clearance to combustibles is 1″ when properly installed (for the standard model). This pipe is rated for flue-gas temperatures up to ~550 °F (depending on appliance category), and is not intended for incinerators, oil- or multi-fuel appliances. It is suitable for venting category I gas-fired appliances where the operating conditions fall within the manufacturer’s listing.
