The Hart & Cooley 3RP18 is a high-quality, UL-listed Type B round gas vent pipe. It features a 3″ inner diameter (approximately 3-1/2″ outer diameter) and is 18″ in length. Constructed with a 0.012″ aluminum inner wall and a 0.018″ galvanized steel outer wall, the double-wall, air-insulated design supports safe venting of negative-pressure gas heating appliances. 
The product is ideal for vertical installations (including laterals) and can be used horizontally when a draft-inducing fan ensures negative pressure throughout the indoor portion of the vent. 
Please note: do not use this vent pipe for incinerators, oil-fired, or multi-fuel appliances, and avoid use with flue gas temperatures above ~550 °F unless a high-temperature insulated product is specified.
In typical installations the couplers overlap by 1-3/8″ when joined, so the assembled length is approximately 16-5/8″ even though the nominal length is 18″.
