The Hart & Cooley 3RP12 is a premium fixed-length round vent pipe designed for Type B gas-vent applications. Measuring 3 inches in inner diameter and 12 inches in overall length, it features a curled inner aluminum liner and galvanized steel outer shell, assembled into a snug integral unit with a unique locking-band joint for secure connections. It is engineered for safe venting of natural gas or propane-fired appliances under negative pressure, with a flue gas temperature limit of approximately 550 °F.  The couplers overlap by about 1-3/8″ when joined, so the effective length is slightly less than listed.  Clearance to combustibles is typically 1″ for sizes in the 3″–12″ range.
